On Instagram, I share archaeology and historical interpretation as @sibylla_archaeologist.

The name is inspired by the Sibyl, the ancient figure associated with revelation, interpretation and the unveiling of truths that are not immediately visible.

That idea reflects the way I approach archaeology. The past rarely speaks for itself: it has to be questioned, reconstructed and interpreted.
