Academic Lectures & Teaching

Teaching through place.

Teaching is one of the central parts of my work as an archaeologist.

I teach Roman history, archaeology, architecture and the wider ancient Mediterranean at universities in Rome, combining classroom teaching with direct engagement with archaeological sites, monuments and material culture.

University Courses

Research-led teaching for international student cohorts.

Guest Lectures

Specialist lectures for universities, institutes and academic programmes.

Field-Based Teaching

Rome and its archaeological landscape as an extension of the classroom.
